Some better games on the schedule this week compared to last week. I'm only two games behind Steve and The Wife, so let's see if I can catch up here.
Patriots at Bills
-------------------
The Wife: Patriots
Me: Patriots (I think the Bills will put some points up on the board, and this could be an upset)
Steve: Patriots
49ers at Bengals
--------------------
The Wife: Bengals
Me: Bengals (not sure here: the Bengals with Andy Dalton looked good, but the 49ers almost beat the Cowboys last week)
Steve: 49ers
Dolphins at Browns
---------------------
The Wife: Dolphins
Me: Browns (at home, they put it all together)
Steve: Dolphins
Broncos at Titans
---------------
The Wife: Titans
Me: Titans (another toss-up)
Steve: Titans
Lions at Vikings
-----------------
The Wife: Lions
Me: Lions (some people may be too quick to say the Lions are play-off bound, but they look good)
Steve: Lions
Texans at Saints
-----------------
The Wife: Saints
Me: Texans (my upset special)
Steve: Saints
Giants at Eagles
-------------------
The Wife: Eagles
Me: Eagles (risky pick if Kafka QBs . . .)
Steve: Giants
Jags at Panthers
-----------------
The Wife: Panthers
Me: Panthers (our first real chance to see what Gabbert is made of)
Steve: Panthers
Chiefs at Chargers
-----------------
The Wife: Chargers
Me: Chargers (if the Chiefs don't give up 40 points, they'll have won a moral victory)
Steve: Chargers
Jets at Raiders
---------------
The Wife: Jets
Me: Raiders (Raiders have enough weapons to get the Jets behind early)
Steve: Jets
Ravens at Rams
----------------
The Wife: Ravens
Me: Rams (another risky pick, but I have to gain ground somewhere)
Steve: Ravens
Cardinals at Seahawks
-----------------
The Wife: Cardinals
Me: Cardinals (between Kolb and Beanie Wells, the Cards look solid in a poor division)
Steve: Cardinals
Falcons at Bucs
------------------
The Wife: Bucs
Me: Falcons (I hope the Bucs will win)
Steve: Bucs
Packers at Bears
-------------------
The Wife: Packers
Me: Packers
Steve: Packers
Steelers at Colts
-------------------
The Wife: Steelers
Me: Steelers (I feel bad for Kerry Collins; dude could get creamed)
Steve: Steelers
Redskins at Cowboys
-------------------
The Wife: Redskins
Me: Cowboys (Sexy Rexy won't bring it in the bright lights of Monday Night)
Steve: Redskins
I'm one of those that thought the playoffs for the Lions was possible before the season, and what they've shown the first two weeks hasn't done anything to change that. I still think it will be a fight for them but fully think they'll make it.
ReplyDeleteHeck, I have so much faith in the Lions that last season I told a couple co-workers that they would have better records than the Browns and Broncos (and they did) and this year when they said that the Broncos would be better I made 2 bets for $20 that they would again be bested by the Lions.
GO SUH! ;)
