Torchwood Online Game Mission # 8

Torchwood Mission # 8 is again pretty straightforward, though with one mildly tricky part at the very end. The dead New Eden whistleblower from Mission # 7 has been identified as Roger Griffiths, a research chemist. The goal of Mission # 8 is to figure out a password for Conrad Fischer's laptop--something that both Griffiths and Fischer would know. Here's the available documents:

1. An e-mail from Fischer to Griffiths. Fischer gives his condolences for "Val" (Griffiths' wife) and includes a link to an online photo gallery from his and Griffiths' recent school reunion. Fischer mentions something about that "old Latin motto" being important.

2. A letter from John Winters (head of New Eden) to Griffiths, stating that Griffiths has the job and should meet with Human Resources Head, Golda Flock.

3. Four newspaper clippings, each reporting a suspicious death. The victims are Valerie Griffiths, Karen Pierce, Margaret Talbot, and Ryan Rush. Reading closely, it becomes clear that at least three out of the four had or planned to have cosmetic surgery shortly before they died.

4. An e-mail from Ianto saying to listen to Dark Talk.

5. A short video from Tosh on how to use the Singularity Scalpel tool.

6. Dark Talk for this mission begins with a sighting of Torchwood recovering Griffiths' body. Callers also report what we know is Captain Jack pulling Owen out of the bay when he tried to "kill" himself (after becoming undead). The last call is from "Adam", but the call is cut off.

7. The Singularity Scalpel minigame requires you to find four anomalies in the corpse of Griffiths. Basically, you just move the cursor around until some bars start to show on the top of the screen and then hold it at the place where all the bars are lit up. After a moment, one of four little microchips will be revealed that contains records. The first one is in Griffiths' upper ribcage and shows that Valerie had visited New Eden. The second is in his pelvis and relates to Karen Pierce, the third is in his left arm and refers to Ryan Rush, and the last is in his left knee and refers to Margaret Talbot. That Griffiths sure went to a lot of trouble to keep those files secret!

8. Finally, following the link from Fischer's e-mail (http://flickr.com/photos/conradfischer) brings up some reunion photos, each captioned "Veritas Vos Liberabit"

To complete this mission, you have to translate that Latin phrase into English (a Google search will do). The phrase is famously known in English as "the truth shall set you free", and that's what you need to put in to move on to the next mission.
