That's Cold. Funny, But Cold.

From Lindy's Sports Pro Football 2011 Preview:

"[Tennessee Titans] Owner Bud Adams turned to Hall-of-Fame guard and offensive line coach Mike Munchak to take over as coach. Then the team shocked some by using the eighth overall selection in the draft on Washington quarterback Jake Locker. Adams, 88, has said many times he wants to win a Super Bowl before he dies. These moves may require Adams to invest in a time machine for that to happen."

I got to see Locker twice against the Huskers this past season and while he didn't look horrible in the last game in the first game he was a disaster. Perhaps part of that was the Blackshirt defense, but whatever the reason he wasn't good and I didn't see what everyone else was raving about when it came to him. I certainly didn't see "franchise quarterback" status in him, and don't see him leading them to the Super Bowl anytime soon.

His two games combined against the Huskers he was 9 for 36 passing (4 for 20 in the first game), 127 yds, 1 td and 2 ints. He rushed 24 times for 142 yds and 2 tds, more yards and touchdowns than he had passing against them...
