I managed to squeak out a win myself. Of the 10 teams I was actually 4th in scoring and one guy had 144 points. I don't know how much different the scoring in Yahoo is vs. your league, but anyway...

Crabtree did nothing for me ... and I was afraid Bradshaw might not either with 10 carries for 7 yards at one point ... but the other guy had a couple of poor performances either. Going into the final game it was only a 4 pt gap and when Gates scored I fell behind until Charles put me back ahead. Pretty exciting...
This week I swapped kickers for Neil Rackers and I traded a bench player for Darren McFadden (RB). I'm not sure if I'll replace one of my backs with him yet, and I'd like to move Crabtree out for a while but don't have a good replacement lined up for him. Mark Clayton from StL is available ... and I thought about looking into GB's backup running back now that their starter is out all year. WR is my weak position beyond my big two though I have some people that should perform so maybe they'll turn it around... (Sam Bradford in StL is also available at QB...perhaps better to have then McNabb???)
Next week's matchup looks like one I should win on paper ... but you know how that goes...
What ya think?
Hey Bal, that was a close game but congrats on the win. I agree with you that Crabtree should be benched for a while, but like you said, it's all about finding a good sub. Good foresight on Jamaal Charles, btw--I had never really heard of him until he broke that long run on Monday night. As for Darren McFadden, The Wife started him last week and was pretty pleased.
I'm happy that he did well...considering I mainly picked him because his last name is the same as my maiden name.....though I had heard his name mentioned frequently enough during last season to know he wasn't bad.
And, let's face it, my QB is Peyton Manning, so there you go....
